Shuaib Olanrewaju ONIYANGI (Ph.D), is a Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Environmental Health Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin. He has over two decades of university teaching, research, and administrative experiences.

He is currently the Head of Department and sandwich postgraduate coordinator and has served as chairman as well as member in host of committees both at the faculty and department level and also served as faculty representative in different capacities. His areas of research interest cover Sex Education, First Aid and Safety Education.

He has to his credit about eighty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapter in books. He has successfully supervised more than twenty Masters dissertations and 10 Ph.Ds. Oniyangi is a member of many professional bodies including Nigerian Association of Health Educators (NAHE), National Association of Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD).
