Olukunmi ‘Lanre OLAITAN, is a Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Environmental Health Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin over two-decade university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as Assistant Director of Institute of Education, Head of Department of Health Promotion and Environmental Health Education, Currently the Director of Unilorin Advancement Centre. His areas of research interest cover Human Sexuality, Reproductive & Family Health, Human Fertility, HIV/AIDS, Public Health Education & Promotion, Nutrition Education, Nursing, Women and Adolescent Health, Wellness & Fitness Health.
He has to his credit over hundred publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised over 50 Masters dissertations and more than 20 Ph.D. theses. He has equally won a number of research grants. Professor Olaitan is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
